A RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR
VICKSBURG LANE OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 10026
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Vicksburg Lane Overlay Project located from
County Road 6 to 32nd Avenue by edge milling and overlaying the existing street, installing concrete
pedestrian ramps, and all necessary appurtenances bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota Heights, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract for the
Base Bid + Alternate Bid A + Alternate Bid C with Bituminous Roadways, Inc. of Mendota
Heights, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of the area located on
Vicksburg Lane Overlay Project from County Road 6 to 32nd Avenue, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer
in the amount of $268,991.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
