RESOLUTION 2010-208
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
REGARDING EXPANSION OF NON -CONFORMING BUILDINGS (2010062)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth initiated an amendment relating to expansion of
non -conforming single- and two-family dwellings and related accessory buildings and
strictures; and
WHEREAS, the amendment would specify the minimum required setback related
to such expansion; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendment
at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the zoning ordinance text amendment, based upon the finding that the proposed
amendment would be consistent with the city's comprehensive plan, and compatible with
other provisions of the city's zoning ordinance.
ADOPTED by the Plymouth City Council on August 10, 2010.
