We need to find more parking if we want to continue this growth and success. Dan Lauer and Travis Karlen were in charge of the event. The Medallion hunt was too easy, and we will work to make it harder next year. The new attractions and the weather teamed up to attract more people. Commissioner Wyse said he was there most of the day and thought the volunteers were very instrumental in making the games go well. Step By Step Montessori provided free s'mores and hot chocolate. The Goofy Hat contest was very successful, and we filled the stage with participants in each age level. On Friday night (February 4) the Little Sweetheart Ball had over 100 participants. Sunday, February 6, the seniors sponsored the Belgium Waffle Breakfast, a fundraiser for the Senior Recognition Dinner. Over 244 individuals put in over 14,000 volunteer hours last year for the senior programs. Coming up, we have Plymouth's Got Talent on March 10 & 17, planned by Travis Karlen. Age groups are Junior for ages 12 & under and senior for ages 13 & up. Winners take home a cash prize. On Sunday, March 20, we have the Healthy Living Fair. We are partnering once again with West Health. We are hoping for the same level of participation or even more than last year, which was 400-450 people. The Bridal Expo is on April 2. It gives brides an opportunity to visit an exhibit of wedding services. The Yard & Garden Expo will be held on April 8 & 9. We had over 100 exhibitors last year, and we are on pace for more than that this year. Primavera will be on April 16-19. This is a juried competition for high school and adult artists.
