RESOLUTION 2010-182
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF
LAND LOCATED AT 5550 VICKSBURG LANE (2010035)
WHEREAS, Taylor Creek, LLC, has requested reclassification of the zoning from FRD
to PUD for the roughly 30 -acre site located at 5550 Vicksburg Lane, legally described as
follows:
The Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 118,
Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, subject to easement for public road
purposes, except the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the
Southwest Quarter containing roughly ten acres.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from
FRD to PUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request
for reclassification of the zoning from FRD to PUD for the roughly 30 -acre site located at 5550
Vicksburg Lane, based on the following findings:
I. The PUD zoning and density for the proposed development would be consistent with its
LA -R2 guiding.
2. The proposed single-family development and lot arrangement would be consistent with the
comprehensive plan and would comply with city standards.
3. Adequate infrastructure would be available to support the proposed development upon
installation of the sanitary sewer through Hampton Hills -Phase I, and upon installation of
the watermain along Vicksburg Lane for Spring Meadows.
