Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
'111age Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
22nd day of November, 1971. The following members were present:
_Naar Hilda, Councilmen Johnson. Spaeth and Bunt
The following members were absent: Councilman Hintz
L4a=riRUds introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71- 445
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Village Council of the Village of
Plymouth to indicate to the Village Planner, the Planning Commission,
landowners in the immediate vicinity vest of County Road #18, south of
County Road i9 and north of 32nd Avenue, potential developers and citizens
that an amendment to the East Medicine Lake G.tde Plan for this area is
being considered for incorporation to said guide plan.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"An amendment to the East Medicine Lake Guide Plan should
Incorporate now criteria and legends, governing density.
which will be used with a view towards;reducing the density
In the above described area.
The density may be higher than R-1 with a possibility of
using R-2 density in accordance with the existing zoning
ordinance.
Also, Community Unit Development may possibly be recommended
for guiding, with such development providing natural transi-
tion on the site to the existing single family development."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Caunciinan Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor gilds. Councilmen Spaeth,
Runt and Johnson The following voted against or
abstained: None Whereupon the resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.

the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota, hereby certif;r that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meting of
the Village Council of said Village held on November 22, 1971, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
