Home My WebLink AboutCity Council Resolution 1971-444VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of November, 1971. The following mambetrw ware present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. The following member was absent: Councilman Hintz. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-444 WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth has been authorized by Resolution No. 71-443, adopted November 22, 1971, to participate in the "Lawton" Acquisition Project, and WHEREAS the Village Manager was directed to obtain a letter from the appropriate officer representing the State Office of Urban and Local Affairs indicating the procedure to follow in the event we will not be able to meet the February 1, 1972 deadline. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: Upon receipt of said letter described above from the State Office of Urban and Local Affairs the Village Manager is hereby directed to take the following action: 1. Request Hennepin County assistance on said project. 2. Have appraisals made for each parcel to be acquired. 3. Seek options which would show the agreed upon price for each parcel. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
