Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
22nd day of November, 1971. The following members were present:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson. Spaeth and Hunt. The following member
was absent: Councilman Hints.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
Its adoption:
RESOLUTION 90, 71-443
WHEREAS, the Village Manager was directed on September 7, 1971 to
apply for Federal and State funds for acquisition and improvement@ of the
West and East Medicine Lake Park areas, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor received a litter stating that the State was
giving our application a high priority rating for acquisition of same 23
parcels of land with 1100 feet of lake frontage. and
WHEREAS, certain actions must be initiated.and•'compiated'by
February 1. 1972 if the Village wishes to participate in this ("Lawson"
Acquisition Project) program for a total cost of approximately $224,0000
wherein the Federal Goverment would pay 502 ($111,950), State Government
25Z ($55,975) and local governments 252 ($55.975).
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"The Village of Plymouth is hereby authorised to participate
to the "Lawcon" Acquisition Project, at a cost as so stated
above."
The motion for the adoption mf the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilman Johnson, Spaeth
and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on November 22, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom.
