HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-433VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of November, 1971. .The following members were present: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-433 WHEREAS, the Congress of the United States through the Federal Highway Administration has requested the establishment of a new Federal Aid Urban System; and WHEREAS, the initiation of such system shall be a cooperative effort of the appropriate local officials and State Highway Depart- sents; and WHEREAS, technical representatives of focal and state transpor- tation offices have jointly agreed upon 46 initial system of routes to recommend for designation in the new FAderal Aid Urban System. NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: That the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth requests the Commissioner of Highways to recommend to the Federal Highway Administrator the selection of roads and streets hereinafter described, located within the boundaries of the Village of Plymouth., as an initial and partial request for designation as pari of the Federal Aid Urban System. F.A.U. No. Description 5004 On Rockford Road (CSAR 9) from FAP 22 (T.H.55) to E. Municipal Limits. 5005 On Bass Lake Road (CSAR 10) from FAI 494 to r. Municipal Limits. The motion for the adoption o:: the: foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None.
