RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, !Minnesota was held on the
15th day of November, 1971. The following ambers were present:
Mayor Hilde, Councilman Johnson, Spaeth, Hintz and Hunt. The following
sembers were absent: None.

Councilmen Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 71-432
WHEREAS. pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a Tractor Loader
Backhoe bids were received. opened and tabulated according to law and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

Long Lake Ford Tractor $10,685.00

Valley Equipment 14,137.00
Northwest Tel-E-Lect 14.386.00
WHEREAS. it appears that Long Lake Ford Tractor of Long Lake.
Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with Long Lake Ford
Tractor of Long Laks. M11masota in the name of the
Village of Plymouth according to the plans and specifi-
cations therefor approved by the Village Council and on
file in the office of the Village Clerk.
2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
have returned forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids. except that the deposits of the success-
ful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained:
None.
Whereupon the resolution was considered duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular
council meeting held November 15, 1971 with the original thereof on
file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript
therefrom.
WITNESS. My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 23rd day of November, 1971.
