VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
15th day of November, 1971. The following members were present:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following
members were absent: None.

Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-431
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a complete
Civil Defense Siren bids were received, opened and tabulated according
to law and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement.
BIDDER TOTAL ANT. BID
Electric Service Company $5,675.00
Lehn Electric Co. 6,523.00
Corrigan Elec. Co. 8,200.00
John Eno b Sons, Inc. 6,655.00
Alerting Communicators of America 6,395.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Electric Service Company of 1609 Chicago
Avenue, Minneapolis, Minn. 55405, is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract witi Electric Service
Company of 1609 Chicago Ave.; Minneapolis, Minn. in the
name of the Village of Plymouth for a complete Civil
Defame Siren according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in
the office of the Village Civil Defense Director.
2. The Village Civil Defense Director is hereby authorized
and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, eaeept that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the neat lowest bidder shall
be retained until a ocutract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor zhereof- Mayor H11de, Councilman Johnson,
Hunt and Spaeth. The following voted against: Councilman Hintz.
Whereupon the resolution was considered duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned. being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on November 15, 1971. with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 23rd day of November. 1971.
