VIW.AGE COUNCIL OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and r}otice thereof, ar special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the 21st day of
October 19 71 , commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Village
� pr�ppcaM.Council chambers in the Public Works Municipal Building.
The following members were present:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.

uncilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its

PESOWTION NO. 71-410
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND ADOPTING
THE ASSESSMENT FOR
WATER IMPROVEMENT TO GREER'S ORCHARD TRACTS ADDITION
(Part of Southeast Water Project 071-0,A)
MM RFAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law an assessment
hearing was held on the 21st day of October, 1971
relating to special assessments
and,
NMSREAS, all persons present desiring to be heard were beard and their objections.
if any, were noted
NOW, THERMw, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OE THE VZ1JME or
PI.YNO[ M# MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
"1. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the a=scrm ` rtes•,.e a waderiik AI
engineers heretofore selected by this council for such purpose, calculated
the proper apwunts to be specially assessed for
Greer's Orchard Tracts Addition
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land, in accordance
with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed in his office
tabulated statements in duplicate showing the proper description of
each and every lot, piece or parcel of land to be specially assessed
in the amount calculated against the same,
Z. Notice has been duty published as required by law that this Council
Mould most in regular session at this time and place to pass on the
proposed assessment.
3. The proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open to
inspection and copying by all persons interested, and an opportunity
has been given to all interested persons to present their objections,
if any, to such proposed assessment, or to any item thereof, and
ne objections have been filed.
4. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or parcels of land
enumerated in said proposed assessment was and is specially benefited
by the construction of water improvements in Greer's Orchard Tracts
Addition
in the amount in said proposed assessment set opposite the description
of each such lot, piece or parcel of land and that said amount is hereby
Levied and assessed.
S. such proposed assessment is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the
sums fixed and the sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment
with the changes and alterations hereinabove made are affirmed, adopted
And confirmed as the proper special assessment for each of said lots,
pieces or parcels of land respectively.
6. said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shall be certified
to by the Village Clerk and filed in his office and shall thereupon be
and constitute the special assessment for water improvements in Greer's
Orchard Tracts Addition, -

7. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land shall
bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been paid at
'the rate ofsx percent per annum.
B. Such assessments shall be payable in 20 equal annual installments
payable on the let day of January in each year, beginning in the year
• 19n, and continuing until all of said installments shall have been
pa , each installment to be collected with taxes collectable during
said year by the County Auditor. To the first installment shall be t
added interest on the entire assessment from the date hereof to
December 31, 19_U, To each subsequent installastt shall be added
interest for one year on all unpaid installments.
9.' 2U village Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in the office
of the County Auditor of Hennepin County a certified statement of the
amount of all of such unpaid assessments and the amount which will be
dun thereon on the 1st day of January in each yeas."
Via above motion was seconded by Qunet IMA0 Hunt and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen
Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the
Village of Plraouth, Minnesota, hereby certify chat I have carefully compared
the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a (r=Cx") (special) cketing
of the Village Council of said village held or-. 21 1971 , with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Pv-jPet
No. 71-O.A (Greer`s Orchard Tracts Addition).
