HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-399VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPROVED Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 18th day of October, 1971. The following members were present: Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following member was absert: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-399 WHEREAS. approval for a Conditional Use Permit was requested by Gerald A. Wellik of Lake Street Industries, 3325 Republic Avenue, to cover a type of manufacturing allowed in a I-1 Planned Industrial District (Minneapolis Industrial Park, Berkshire Lane). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "Approval for a Conditional Use Permit is hereby granted to Lake Street Industries to allow construction of a plastic laminate manufacturing plant in an I-1 zone in the Minnea- polis Industrial Park on Berkshire Lane subject to the following conditions and that said business shall conform to the Village ordinance with respect to performance standards: 1. If the intended use is changed the petitioner must return to the Village and review with the staff and Planning Commission the proposed new use of the building. 2. If it is determined by the Village staff and Planning Commission that additional parking is required that the petitioner insure, by letter to the Village, that the additional parking spaces will be constructed prior to the new use occupying the building. The motion for the adoption of the foregoiAg resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Johnson, Hintz and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None, Councilman Hunt had not as yet arrived at the meeting.
