Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
fE Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 4th
! day of October, 1971. The following members were present:
IMayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following
members were absent: None.
° Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-376
WHEREAS, a vacancy,wai created in the position of Treasurer -
Finance Director by the resignation of Dewan B. Barnes on September
30, 1971,
WHEREAS, Mr. Lloyd J. Ricker has accepted the offer and has
agreed to serve as Treasurer Finance -Director for the Village of Plymouth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
Mr. Lloyd J. Ricker's appointment as the Treasurer -Finance Director
for the Village of Plymouth effective October 1, 1971 is hereby confirmed.
The sum of $22,900 per year is hereby set as the rate of
compensation for Mr. Lloyd J. Ricker for the position of Treasurer -
Finance Director.
A bond in the amount of $10.000 shall be obtained from the First
National flank of Wayzata to cover Mr. Lloyd J. Ricker in this position.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz,
Spaeth and Hunt. The following voted against or abstained; None.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I. the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on October 4, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of
the Village this 29th day of October, 1971.
