HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-369I VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND I ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 14th day of October, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-369 i fWHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on August 23„ 1971, tix '~P lege Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for Kraetz Lake Sewer and Ws.er Improvement Project #71-2,B and #71-1,0,8,9-D (including Kraetz Lake 5r.cm Sewer Outfall and Sunny Acres 3rd Addition Sewer, Water anti Storm S::oer) and has presented such plans and specifi- cations to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R_.SOLVED BY,THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specificat'ins. a copy of which is on file in the Engineer's office, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shalt rreoare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specs - fictions. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids 'rill be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on October 20. 1971, in the Council Chambers in the Public Works Municipal Bldg., and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit. cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, ` Hintz, Spaeth and hunt. The following voted against or abstained: None.
