HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-345VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the i 27th day of September, 1971. The following members were present: lMayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-345 WHEREAS, the Council requested that certain items be revised in the proposed amendment to the existing agreement for Planning Services ;between the Village of Plymouth and Nason, Wehrmar., Chapman and Associates; I namely, 1. On Page 1 of "Administration", the duties of the Director of Planning & Community Development in relation to review of the program with the Council and Planning Commission have been expanded. 2. On Page 1, ill of Stage 1, "Section 12" has been deleted as a primary study area. 3. On Page 3, the completion schedule has been spelled out. If the consultant is given a go-ahead by October 1, Stage 1 of the program is to be completed by March 31, 1972 and Stage 2 by June 30, 1972. The actual public hearings and final review by the Planning Commission and Council prior to adoption may have to be extended into or through the summer of 1972. 4. The coat estimates have been revised in W on Page 3. To date, $2,175 has been expended on this program and has been deleted from the cost figures as now shown. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ITHE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Approval is hereby given for the amendment to the agreement for planning services with Nason, Wehrman, Chapman Associates, 1415 Idlac Drive, Minneapolis, Minn. on a probationary basis. 2. Further, that no actual guiding of the additional land In Plymouth will be done prior to the adoption by the Village Council of the criteria, goals and objectives now being worked on by the Planning Commission. The motion for the adoption of the foregring resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.
