RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymo•;th, Minnesota, was held on the
27th day of September, 1971.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Bunt. The following members were absent: None:

Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-344
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of sewer and water, Project #71-1,0,8,9-L, in the Chelsea Woods development
by Ban Con, Inc, of St. Paul. Minnesota bids were received, opened and
tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it appears that Berg
6 Kern Contracting, 8800 Tretbaugh,
Bloomington, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract with Berg b Kern Contracting, 8800
Tretbaugh, Bloomington, Minnesota in the name of the Village
of Plymouth for Project #71-1,0,8,9-L for sewer and water
utilities in the Chelsea Hoods development according to the
plans and specifications therefnr approved by the Village
Council and on file in the office of the Village Engineer.
2. The Val lage Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest,bidder,,shall`be retained until
a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
i seconded by Councilman'Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof-
Mayor H:Ide, Councilmen Jo:.nson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.

the Village, Council of said Village held September 27, 1971 with the.

complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Project
No.
