HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-342VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of September, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. The following member was absent: Councilman Hintz. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-342 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF 140TICE OF HEARING j l ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING PROJECT: "171-0,8-11, 36TH AVENUE NORTH, ZACHARY TO JONQUIL LANES- "ATEA AND STREET IMPROVEMENT." BE IT HEREVI RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. A proposed. assessment roll for the above named improvements, prepared by the Village Clexk, with the assistance of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik`S Associates,_ Inc. having been ordered and to be placed on file, upon receipt in the office of the village Clerk, where it shall be and remain to public inspection. 2. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of a hearing on such proposed assessment in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The Clerk shall also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each parcel of land described in the assessment roll, with such ,mailed notice to be giyen no less than two weeks prior to the date of hearing on such proposed assessment roll. 3. Such notice shall state the date, time and place of such hearing, the general' nature of the improvement, the area - proposed to be assessed, that the proposed.assessment roll is on file with the Clerk, and that written or oral objec- tions the -roto by any property owner will be considered. 4. The Village Council shall meet at the time and place specified in such notice to pass.upon such proposed aseessment._ 5. The date set for the _public hearing is October 7, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Public Works Municipal Building, 14,900 23rd Ave.'' -N., Plymouth, Minn. The above motion was seconded by.Councilman Johnson and'.upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereo:: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth andHunt. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) 1, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held September 20, 1971, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the assessment roll public hearing for Project #71-0,8-H.
