HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-336VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPOT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING, [ Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of September, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. The following were absent: Councilmen Hintz. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved E its adoption: f RESOLUTION NO. 71-336 WHEREAS, a report has been given by the Village Engineer to the Village Council on May 11, 1971 recommending the storm sewer improvement Project 1171-2,A (County Highway Project Nos. 6707 and 7010), on CSAH 018 from County Road 09 to County Road 1110 at an estimated cost of $44,645.72, and WHEREAS, a report has been given by the Village Engineer to the Village Council on May 4, 1970 recommending approval of a Construction Cooperative Agreement 0PW-06-17-70 (County Projects 06802 and 6912) for storm sewer construction Project 1171-2-D at CSAR 018 and 09 at an estimated cost of $12,616.25. NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "1. The Council will consider the aforesaid improvements in accordance with the reports and the assessment of property abutting or within said boundaries for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to H.S.A. Sec. 429.011 to 429.111, at an estimated total cost of the improi is as shown. 2. A public hearing shall be held on Project 071-2-D at 8:30 o'clock P.M. and on Project 071-2-A at 8:45 P.M. on the 18th day of October, 1971 in the Council Chambers in the Public Works Municipal Building, 14900 23rd Ave, lo, The Village Engineer shell give published notice of such hear- ing and improvement as required by law." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing reeolutioa was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken tharoon. the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde.
