HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-326VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the e Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September, 1971 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 71-326 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF RE&RING OR PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS: PHASE I: 1. Weed Assessments 2. Delinquent Sewer & Water 3. Street Lighting: (a) Plymouth Manor lot and 2nd (b) Creekwood Heights (c) Seven Ponds (d) Gleanloch lot and 2nd 4. 071-5-A: Fox Meadows Street Lighting Installation 5. 070-2-A: Fox Meadows Storm Sewer 6. 071-8-A: Fernbrook Lane Improvement (No. of Ry. 055) 7. A70 -8-E: Dunkirk Lane Improvement S. 070-8-C: 36th Avenue improvement 9. 070-8-A: 34th Avenue Improvement (Kilmer Lase to Cty. A proposed assessment roll for the above named improvements, prepared by the Village Clerk, with the assistance of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. having been ordered and to be placed on file, upon receipt in the office of the Village Clerk, where it shall The and remain open to public inspection. i 2. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of a hearir.g on such proposed assessment in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The Clerk shall f also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each parcel of land (!described in the assessment roll, with such mailed notice to be given no s less than two weeks prior to the date of hearing on such proposed assessment roll. 3. Such notice shall state the date, time and place of such hearing. the general nature of the improvement, the area proposed to be assessed. that the proposed assessment roll in on file with the Clerk, and that written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. 4. The Village Council shall most at the time and place specified in such notice to pass upon such proposed assessment. 5. The dates set for the public hearings are September 30, 1971 for Phase 1, and October 5, 1971 for Phase II, both to be held at 7:00 P.M. in the Beacon ?!eights Elementary School, 12'15 Highvay 655. The above motion was seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilman Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
