HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-323VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of September, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None. *s,t Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-323 WHEREAS, Be1Mar Builders, 3131 N. Fernbrook Lane, has asked for approval to rezone from R -O to R-4 the Fox Meadows 2nd Addition development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Village Manager is hereby directed to give this petition to the Village Planner and have the staff negotiate with BelMar for the dedication to the Village for•the equivalent of $1,000 per gauge unit which is to be reduced from the ordinance requirement. which sum of money is to be applied for the improvemegt of; 33rd Avenue to the West boundary of Park A and that Che balance be used to make improvements in Parke A, B and C, according to some well -thought out plan. 2. Further, that the petitioner's request concerning three and two bedroom apartments be reconsidered in such a way to reduce the number of three and two bedroom apartments in the project. 3. Further, that the Planning staff compute the allowable density for this project under all possible alternatives. 4. Further, that the Planner submit to the Council an analysis of the effects of reducing the garage requirement from 1 to 1 to 1i to 1, considering winter parking experience and arty and all other considerations related. 5. Further, that the staff should interpret the Council'& intent that 33rd Avenue may be a requirement under our ordinsncs. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the folloving voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz and Hupt.
