HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-320VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING::PLANS.& SPECIFICATIONS & gRDEitiNG ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 1 Pursuant to due .call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of September, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz,,, Spaeth and Hunt. The following members were absent: None. Councilman. Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-320 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council the Village Engineer has prepared plane and specifications for Project #71-1,2,0,8-A PART 3, West Medicine Lake Sewer and Water Street Improvement and has presented such plane and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the office of the Village Engineer, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cuase to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plane and specifications. The adver- tisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 11:00 A.M. on October 13, 1971, in the Council Chambers in the Public Works MunicipalBldg., and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for SX of the amount of such bid. I The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.
