RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
123rd day of August, 1971.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz,
Spaeth and Hunt. Councilman Johnson was absent.

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
[its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-310
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement

lof the following Project No.,71-1,0-K, Shenandoah First Addition Water
land Sewer bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement.
BIDDER TOTAL AMT. OF BID
Hoffman Brothers- $51,341.17
Keller Construction 57,691.00
Dycon Corporation 63,999.25
Barbarossa & Sons 71,730.25
C. S. McCrossan 79,740.00
I and,
WHEREAS, it appears that Hoffman Brothers of Atwater, Minnesota
it is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
(PLYMOUTH:
"1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with Hoffman Brothers
of Atwater, Minnesota in the name of the Village of
Plymouth for Project :171-1,0-K for water and sewer in
Shenandoah First Addition according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the Village Council
and on file in the office of the Village Engineer.
2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed
to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
a contract has been signed."

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Spaeth and
Hunt. Councilman Hintz abstained.
Whereupon the resolution Was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have care-
fully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a
regular seating of the Village Council of said village held August 23,
1971. with the original thereof an file in my office and the same is
a full, true and cosplete transcript therefrom insofar as the same
relates to Project #71-1,0-K of the Village.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal
of the village this 8th day of September, 1971.`
