RESC -UTION ACCEPTING BID
!i Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
+;Village Council. of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
16th day -f .':gust, 1971. The following members were present:
'Mayor Hilda. Councilmen Johnson, Hunt and Spaeth. The following member
Iwas absent: Councilman Hintz.

t WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Harbor Lane
{ Street Lighting Project 1171-5,A bids were received, opened i- tabulated
,according to law and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement.

Electric Service Co. 9,943.00
Hoffmann Elec. Co. 10,890.00
j WHEREAS, it appears that Egan -McKay of 7100 Medicine Lake Road,

Minneapolis. Minn. is the lowest responsible bidder.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
!j PLYMOUTH:
"l. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed
to enter into a contract with Egar.-McKay, 7100 Medicine Lake Road,
Minneapolis, Minn. in the name of the Village of Plymouth for
Project #71-5,A for Street Lighting on Harbor Lane according to
the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village
Council and on file in the office of the Village Engineer.
2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next
lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mavor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hunt and Spaeth. No one voted against or abstained. Whereupon the
Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular
meeting of the Village Council of said Village held August 16, 1971, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of
the Village this 9th day of September, 1971.
