VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS &
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
26th day of July, 1971.
The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Johnson, Hintz, Hunt and Spaeth. No one was absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-286
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution No. 71-224 of June 7, 1971
approving the final site plan for Phase 1 of the Shenandoah Development
project at Vicksburg Lane and 28th Avenue North authorization was requested
to advertise for bids for sewer and water improvements to said development,
WHEREAS, the Shenandoah Development Corporation has agreed to
assume all costs for said utility improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the --making of such ionrovement
under such approved plans and specifications. The advertise-
ment shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the
work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and
considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on August 11, 1971,
in the Council Chambers in the Public Works Municipal Bldg.,
and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, b1,4 :.uno or certified eheek.payable to the Clerk for
5% o° the amount of such bid.
"= s cbe adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Hunt and Spaeth. No one voted against or abstained.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby cert' _fy that I have care-
fully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a
special meeting held duly 26, 1971, with the original thereof on file
in my office and the same is a full, tr-ue and complete transcript
therefrom.
