HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-266VILLAGE OF PLDIDUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was hela on the 19th day of July, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth. and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Hunt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: REf LUTION NO. 71-266 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following Project No. 71-1,2,0-C Cavanaugh Addition Street Improvements and Project No, 68-1,0-C 34th and Xanium Lane Street Imp- rovements bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER TOTAL AMT. BID C. S. McCrossan.$106,837.58- Hardrives, Inc. 108,705.00 Alexander Construction 128,360.00 and, WHEREAS, it appears that C. S. McCrossan, Inc. of Osteo. Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVER BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Villsgo Mats"are hereby authorized and directed to enter Ta'C ger to '&ontract with C. S. McCsoasan, Inc. of Osseo. Minnesota, in the nates of the Village of Plymouth for Project bio.Ii. 1,2,0-C and Project No. 68-1,0-C for street improvement according to the plans and specift- cations therefor approved by the Village Council and = file In the office of the Village Engineer. 2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits meds with their bids, except that the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest biddershallbe retained until a coetract has been signed. ME The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the j following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt.
