HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-265VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of July, 1971. The following members were present: mAyor Hilde, Councilman Johnson, flints, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Hunt introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-265 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following Project No. 71-1,A Jonquil Lane Sewer and Water (including 36th Avenue Water Nein from Zachary Lane to Jonquil Lane) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. BIDDER TOTAL AMT. BID Northdale Construction $282,604.00 C. S. McCrossan 332,200.00 Peter Lametti Construction 341,245.50 Nodland Associates 401,712.00 Barbarossa b cons 539,259.00 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction, 9753 89th Ave. N., Osseo, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Village *tanager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Northdale Construction of Osseo, 1,4irmesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth for Project #-71=1,A, for Jonquil.Lane-Sewer and Water (in- cluding 36th Avenue water Main) according to the plans and specifications therefor approver by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Engineer. 2. The Village Engineer is hereby a.Whorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of ,the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thervof: *tayor 'tilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained.
