VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS b SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT -FOP BIDS
Pursuant to due call, and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
8th day of July, 1971.
The following members were present: Mayor Rilde, Councilmen Hintz,
Johuson, Spaeth and H+.xtt. No one was absent.

Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-258
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on
November 16, 19'0 the Village Engineer ties prepared plans and
specifications for Project 071-1,2,0-8-A, Part 2, West Medicine Lake
Water Improvement and Street Restoration, (South of 23rd Avenue Sorth),
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby
approved.
2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be
inserted in the official paper and in the Construction
Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of
such improvement under such approved plans and speci-
fications. The advertisement shall be published for
two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be opened and considered by the
Counctl at 11:00 A.M. on August 5, 1971, in the Council
chambers in the Public Works Municipal Building, and
that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed
with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to
the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No ono voted against or abstained.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special
meeting of the Village Council of said Village held July 8. 1971, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such cleric and the corporate
seal of the Village this 26th day of July. 1971.
