Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
8th day of July, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnson, Hunt, Spaeth and Hintz. There were no absent members.
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-255
WHEREAS, the Union City Mission, Inc., 3401 Medicine Lake Boulevard,
conveys approximately 4.3 acres to the Village of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the said 4.3 acres shall be used by the Village of Plymouth
for their future Fire Station #2 site.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
1. That the requirements of Ordinance 566-1 of the Village of
Plymouth passed on January 10, 1966, and filed on April 6,
1966, in Book 1035 of Miscellaneous Records, page 497,
Register of. Deeds; Hennepin County, Minnesota, relating to
the conveyance of parcels of land less than five (5) acres
in area and 300 feet in width are hereby waived as to the
following described lands:
Tract A:
South 600 feet of the North 1200 feet of the West 300 feet
of the NE34 of the SO4, Section 14, T.118, R.22.
Tract B:
Commencing at the SE corner of the East 14 of the SW's of
the West to a point 217 feet East from SW corner thereof
then North 30 feet then 217 feet then North to a point
1200 feet South from NW corner of East ;I of SWk then East
300 feet then North 600 feet then East 180 feet then North
to North line Thereof then East to NE corner of SWit then
South to beginning except road.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt,
and Hintz. Councilman Johnson had not yet arrived at the meeting.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on July S, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a.full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 12th day of July, 1971.
