VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on
the 28th day of June, 1971. The following members were present:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was
absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-252
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of the following Project No. 70-1,0,8-A, Parkers Lake Street Improvement
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

Jerome Begin $294,191.60
Hardrives, Inc. 304,588.90
Alexander Construction 306,701.00
Matt Bullock Cont. Co. 325,501.50
C. S. McCrossan 344,335.70
WHEREAS, the amount bid above includes improvement of the Public
Works Municipal Garage Parking lot, and
WHEREAS, it appears that Jerome Begin, 12615 County Road #9,
Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bit:der.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLY. -SOUTH :
1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with Jerome Begin
of 12615 County Road 99, *tinneapolis, Minnesota in the
name of the Village of Plymouth for Project #70 -1,O,8 -A
Parkers Lake Street Improvement according to the plans
and specifications therefor approved by the Village
Council and an file in the office of the Village Engineer.
2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made ;-. th
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution wns duly
seconded by Council-mn Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen .Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one vot.d against or abstained.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, "innesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special
meeting of the Village Council of said village held June 28, 1971, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 23rd day of July, 1971.
