The following lera were present: Mayor 11ilde. Councilman Johnson, Hintz. Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. •t• rr• ar* Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESnLL'TION NO. 71-251 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following Project No. 71-n.A-1 Part B, SOUTHEAST WATER IMPROVEMENT bids were received, opened and tabulated according to lass and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. BIDDER InTAI. BID W/ALTERNATE FOR COMPACTION Peter Lametti 5613.579.20 Erwin Montgomery 68S,417.50 Hoffman Brothers 689.016.12 Austin Keller 713,736.00 Northern Contracting 736,214.00 Northdale Construction 766,716.00 WHEP,EAS, it appears that Peter I.ametti of 615 Drake Street, St. Paul, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLACE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The *Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Peter Lametti, 615 Drake St., St. Paul, Mfinnesota, in the name of the Village of Plymouth for Project No. 71-O,A-1, Part B, Southeast Water Improvement according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and an file in the office of the Village Engineer. 2. The Village Engineer : hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the 3eposits made with their bids, except thwt the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. P t The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt, No one voted against or abstained. 1 Whereupon the resolution was declared duly gassed and adopted.
