RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call, and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
28th day of June, 1971. The following members were present:
,aypr Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth"and Hunt. No one was
absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTIC.1 NO. 71.-249
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of the following Project No. 71-3,2,0-C Sanitary Sewer, Water and Street
Improvement in the Cavanaugh A,�4ition and Project #68-1,0-C, Sanitary
Sewer, Water and Street Restoration of 34th Avenue and Aenium Lane, bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following
bids were received complying ;with the advertisement.

Krohn Drainage $166,628.00
Peter Lametti 176,244.90
Erwin Montgomery 185,586.50
Hauffman 191,331.63
Richard Knutson 211,542.00
Barbarossa 245,702.50
and,
WHEREAS, it appears that Krohn Drainage of 1501 West.80th Street,
Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor-and.Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with Krohn Drainage of
1501 West 80th Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the
name of the.Village of Plymouth for Project 071-1,2,0-C,
for Sanitary ;Sewer, 'Water and Street Improvement in the
Cavanaugh Addition and Project 1168-1,0-C for Sanitary
Sewer, Water and Street Restoration of 34th Avenue.and
Xenium Lane according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in
the office of the Village Engineer.

2. The Villager Engineer is hereby authorized and directed
to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon. the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz,
Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of
the Village of Plymouth,_ Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special
meeting of the Village Jouncil of said 'Village held June 28, 1971, with
the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript Lherefrom insofar as the same relates to
Projects :971-1,2,0-C and #68-1,0-C.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 23rd day of July, 1971.
