Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
21st day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilman Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No members were absent.
Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and moved its
adopt!on:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-245
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota
has been requested to authorize the Mayor and Village Clerk to execute
a Cooperative Construction Agreement submitted by the State of Minnesota
Highway Department for the Trunk Highway #55 turn accslerati„n and
deceleration lane for Fernbrook Lane north of Trunk Highway #55, and
WHEREAS, this construction was included in.Projeet #71-8,A Vernbrook
Lane Improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
That the Village of Plymouth enter into an agreement With the
Stats of Minnesota, Department of Highways for the following
purposes, to -wit: to provide for the Village of Plymouth to
construct right -turn lanes along the north side of the weetbound
lanes of Trunk Highway #55 at Fernbrook Lane; and payment by the
State to the Village of the full cost of said turn lanes con-
struction designated by the State as State, Project #2723,
(T.H. 55-188).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That the Mayor and Clerk be and they hereby are authorized to
execute such 'agreement. (Cooperative Construction Agreement 056878)
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one abstained or voted against. Whereupon
theresolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
