Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regilar meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
21st day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent.
Councilman Hintz introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-244
WHEREAS, Hennepin County is submitting an application for a
Federal Grant under the Discretionary Grant Program, Title 1, Omnibus
Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 for upgrading the present
Police and Sheriff Radio Communication System to include mobile tele-
printer operation, and
WHEREAS, the various law enforcement jurisdictions in Hennepin
County will be participating in the use of the proposed system.
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"It is the desire of the Village of Plymouth to participate
in said program for five mobile teleprinter units for the
estimated amount of $157.00 per unit per year for five
years, totalling $785 per year."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz; Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have care`_ally
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on June 21, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true
and complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal of
the Village this 19th day of July, 1971.
