VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
21st day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. There were no absent members
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-243
WHEREAS, it was requested on behalf of the Police Chief that the
Council authorize the Mayor and Village Manager to execute an agreement
that will provide the Village of Plymouth Police Department with a college
student who can assist the Chief in the research and writing of a manual
of procedure for Police Department use, and
WHEREAS, 80% of the salary for the intern will be paid by the
Federal Government through the Urban Corps Program with only 20% paid
from Village funds, and
WHEREAS, such funds are available within the Police Department's
budget without supplemental appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
The Mayor and Manager of the Village of Plymouth are hereby
authorized to execute the "Agreement For Participation In Urban
Corps Program Between City of Minneapolis and Village of Plymouth".
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly'
seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz,
Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained. Whereupon the
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the and<ersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of
the Village Council of said Village held on June 21, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Clerk and the corporate seal
of the Village this 19th day of July, 1971.
