HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-236VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS & ORDERING A:VERTISEMENT FOR BIDS f Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the t 21st day of June, 1971. 3 _ , Thw following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO, 71-236 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on May 5, 1971, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for Project #71-0,6-R 36th Avenue Street Grading Improvement, including street restoration for Jonquil Lane Project and has presented such plans and'apecificatio0s to the Council for approval. NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH* 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids -upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The adver- tisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened And considered b7the Council at 11:00 A.M. on July 15, 1971, -in the Council Chambers in the Public Works Municipal Building,.and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and fila' with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payableto the Clerk for 52 of the amount of such bid. The motion fo;'.the adoption of 0,e foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth andHunt.- No one voted against or abstained. '.Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Page 2, Res.
