HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-234VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING_ PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 21st day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. *stir *t* *sit Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-234 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on May 5, 1971, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for approval on Project p71-1,2,0,0-1 Cavanaugh Addition Street Restoration and Project 868-1,0,C-1 34th Avenue at Xenium Lane Improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improve- ment under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on July 15, 1971, in the Public Works Municipal Building, and that no bids will be considered unless seal::d and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such. bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Page 2, Res. No. 71-234 STATE OF tr,iNNESOTA ) COUP?TY OF HENNEPIN ) SS VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held June 21, 1971, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Projects #71-1,2,0,C-1 and d68-1,O,C-1.
