HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-227m# VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting, of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-227 WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted on March 22, 1971 fixed the 20th day of May, 1971, as the date for a public hearing on Project #71-1,0,2,8-A Sanitary Sewer, Water, Storm Sewer and Street Restoration in the 'West Medicine Lake Area with respect to the following streets, to -wit: The South 'k of the Southeast �, Section 22, North and East of State High -ray #55. The property north of Trunk Highway #55 and West of Medicine Lake in Section 26, The South 2/3 of the Southwest k of Section 23. The Southeast k of Section 23. The Southeast 14 of the Southwest k of Section 22. The East � of the Northeast k of the Northeast 14 of Section 27. All in Township 118, Range 22 West. WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed. for the making of these improvements were given ten days published notice of the Council hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice and the hearing was held and the property owners heard on the 20th day of May, 1971, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE. OF PLYMOUTH: To proceed with the West Medicine Lake Improvement Project a71 -1,2,0,8-A as follows: k Page 2, Res. No. 71-227 1. Delete Oakview Lane from the project. k 2. Order water to.be'.installed from 23rd Ave. No. to 2811 Ave. No. down to 24th Ave No. on Meet Medicine Lake € Drive on the East, hounded by Norwood Lane on the West, to be completed by September 1971 with the appropriate cost factor for that area on water and road restoration j and the balance of the project continued as follows: i 3. Sanitary sewer to be installed in the areas recommended by the Engineer at the time =he water is installer. 4. To eliminate all the storm sewer except Areas 7 6 8 according to Storm Sewer. AppeLdix C. I 5. Construct B618 concrete curb and gutter in Creekwood Heights First and Second Additions with street restor- ation for the rest of the project to be of bituminous material throughout the entire project installed in 1972 except the area bounded by Area 1. (See Exhibit "A" attached. 6. To install the; sewer pipe at the same time as the water is installed in 1971 on 26th Avenue. 7. The entire project will be bid in 1971 and construction started in 1972 except Areas No. 1 and 4, which will be put in this year and if the project cannot be completed - by September 15th it x1.411 not be started at all. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman 11intz, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz and Hunt. Councilman Spaeth voted naye. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MIMSOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN } SS VILLAGE OF PLrIOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualifies and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on June 7, 1971, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
