:'ursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the,Vil.lage of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
7th day of June, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent.

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-226
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT #70-2,A
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of the following Project #70-2,A Fox Meadows Storm Sewer outfall on the
following streets, to -wit:
Lots 5 thru 13, Block 3, Cavanaugh's 3rd Addition
Lots 4 thru 12,'Block 1, Cavanaugh's 3rd Addition
Lots 3 thru 11,,Alock"5, Cavanaugh's 4th Addition
Lots 1 thru k, Block 3, Cavanaugh's 4th Addition
Lots 2 thru 13, Block 2, Cavanaugh's 4th Addition
Lots 6 thru 8, Block I, Cavanaugh's 4th Addition
All that part of the SEk of the NEh and the NEh of
the SE1%, all of Section 21, T.118, R.22 lying northerly
of State Trunk Highway #55 and south of north 15 rods
of said SE's of the NE'k.
} All that part of the NW34 of the SW. and the SWC of
the NWh, all of Section 22, T.118, R.22 lying northerly
of State Trunk Highway #55 and westerly of Interstate
Highway #494.
bide were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following
bids were received complying with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it was decided by Council to go to Class 4 pipe rather than
Class 5 thereby reducing the project ;cost by $5600 and bids €educed; by
that amount.,
WHEREAS, it appears that C. S. McCrossan of Osseo, Minnesota is the

{ lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into a contract with C. S. McCrossan
of Osseo, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth
for Project #70-2,A Fox Meadows Storm Sewer Outfall in the
amount of $731,310.00, on the streets listed above according
to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the
Village Council and on file in the office of the Village
Engineer.
2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bide, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until
a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted is favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt; No one voted against or abstained.
( Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

1, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Clerk of the Village
of Plymouth. Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared
the attached and foregoing extract of.sii.nutes-o£ a regular meting of
the Village Council of said village held June.7, 1971, with the
original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Project
#70-2,A of the Village.
