HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-204VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH_ Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-204 WHEREAS, at a regularmeeting on May 17, 1971 Resolution #71-187 awarded the bid for Project #71-8,A Fernbrook Lane ,Street Improvement to J. P• Begin for $72,374.10, and WHEREAS, a "hold" was placed on the construction project until a re-evaluation report shall be received from the Engineer concerning the removal of trees, replareent and growth guarantee. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE. COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: Approval is hereby given to approve the $100 charge that will be made by the contractor to replace any trees that may have to be res:oved and replaced (which is actually $40 above the cost to remove the trees) in connection with the improvement project of Fernbrook Lane. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. f: Page 2, Res.
