RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS &
ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
24th day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Johnion, Spaeth, Hintz and Hunt. No one was absent.
Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 71-202
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on May 5, 1971
,the Village Fugineer has prepared plane and specifications for Project
I[No. 71-0,A Southeast Water Improvemert and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
1011 PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approved plana and specifications. The advertise-
ment shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the
work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and
considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on .tune 18, 1971 in
the Village Public Works Municipal Building, and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the
Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check,
bid bond or r-rtified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of
the, amount of such bid.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Runt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hintz,
Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained.
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
