Home My WebLink AboutCity Council Resolution 1971-192VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-192 j WHEREAS, the Kullberg Mfg. Co., 5205 N. County Road #18 requested the Village of Plymouth to provide a temporary or permanent water main with hydrants to their building for fire protection purposes. WHEREAS, the Manager was directed to have the Consultant Engineer prepare a preliminary report on the feasibility of such service and estimated cost for same. WHEREAS, a preliminary report was received on April 30, 1971 giving the estimated cost for said Project #71-0-B as $17,000, which cost shall be assessed in full to tha,Kullberg Mfg. Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: The Preliminary Report for Project #71-0,B is hereby accepted for a water main extension from the Village of New Hope to Kullberg Mfg. Co. The staff is hereby directed to coordinate this plan after obtaining approval from Kullberg Mfg. Co. that they will also assume assessment costs for connection to the Village water system when it in available at a future date. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voteC against.
