RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
17th day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmn Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent.
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 71-187
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement
of Project 071-8,A to improve Fernbrook Lane from Trunk Highway #55
north a distance of approximately 2400 feet, West of Interstate Highway
#494, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it appears that J. P. Begin -of 12615 County Road #9,
is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYMDUTH:
1.The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the attached contract with J. P. Begin,
12615 County Road #9, Plymouth, Minnesota, in the name of
the Village of Plymouth for Project #81-8,A for improvement
of Farnbrook Lane as described above according to the plans
and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council
and on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
2.The Village Clerk is hereby authorised and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.

when a re-evaluation report 'on said. report shall be re-
ceived from the Village Engineer.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly
seconded by Councilman Hintz and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: .Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson,
Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against or abstained,
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk
of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have
carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular
meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on May 17, 1971,
with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full,
true and, complete transcript therefrom.
