HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-176VILLAGE' [OF' PLYMOUTH; RESOLUTION' ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND PREPARATION OF PLANS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Hintz introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-176 WHEREAS, a resolution of the Village Council adopted March 22, 1971 fixed the day of April 26, 1971 as the date for a public hearing on (Ref. 810) Project 871-1,A Jonquil Lane Improvement to consider the installation of sanitary sewer, water main and street restoration with respect to the following streets: All of Government Lot 2. A11 of Government Lot 3, Lncluding all of Maywood Park Addition. All to Section 23, Township 118, Range 22. South hall .,i the Southwest k of the Southeast k, and the South 2 of the Southeast k of the Southwest k. Both in Section 14, Township 118, Range 22. WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the making of theme improvements were given ten days published notice of the Council hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice and the hearing was hold and the property owners heard on the 26th_ day of April, 1971. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such improvements as set out above and for the streets as above indicated are hereby ordered an proposed in the Resolution adopted March 22, 1911. 2. The Village Manager is,hereby directed to have the plans and specifications prepared for the asking of [uch improvements. BE IT FURTHER liESOLVED: That a project to grade and widen 36th Avenue North from Jonquil Lana to Zachary Lane be coordinatedinany way possible to -this p*oject, and order a preliminary report that Will include ttilening, grading and water main Installation of said -area. ssss� r: {{ Page 2, Resolution x#71-176 E� fThe motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly second, --d by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being, taken thereon, the �! following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hintz, Spaeth and Hunt. No one abstained or voted against.
