HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-170VILLAGE OF PL 0TH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMINT FOR AIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of May, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Hints, Spaeth and Hunt. No one was absent. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-170 WHERIl,S, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on December 21, 1970, the Consultant Engineer prepared supplemental plans and specifications for Fox Meadows Storm Sewer Project E70 -2,A dated December 23, 1970 which was estimated in the amount of $5,980.00 and is in addition to the Preliminary Project Report dated November 20, 1970 In the amount of $65,000.00. These plans and specifications were presented to the Council for approval. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: j 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Engineer shall prepare and cause to be inserted In the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertise- sant shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shell state that bids will ba opened and con- sidered by the Council at 10:00 A.M., May 28, 1971, in the Council Chambers in the Public Works Nunicipal Building, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 52 of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, Bents, Spaeth and Hunt.
