HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1971-135a VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH .` RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the `! Village Council of the Village of Plymouth,Minnesota, was held on the =i 5th day of April, 1971. The following members were present: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Johnson, �j Spaeth and Hunt. Councilman Hintz was absent. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-135. WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Redevelopment of Deep Well No. 1, Improvement Project #707-1, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. BIDDER AMOUNT OF BID Bergerson-Caswell $7,932:90 E. H. Renner 6 Sons 7,997.00 Keys Well Drilling 8,300.00 Thein. Well Co.1 8.880.00 Tri-State Drilling 9,840.00 Layne -Minnesota 10,292.n0 + and, f WHEREAS, it appears that Bergerson-Caswell of 13120 Minnetonka { Boulevard, Minnetonka, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED zY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Acting Manager are hereby authorized was directed to enter into the nttached contract with Ber,::erspn-Csswell of ' 13170 Minnetonka Blvd.. Minnetonka, Minnesota in the name of the Village of Plymouth for Deep Well #1'Redevelopa`nt Project 0707-1 according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, + except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Inv Page 2, Resolution No. 71-135 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution waa duly i1 seconded by Councilman Johnson, and upon vote bein9 taken thereon, the il following voted in favor thereof, Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against. ij Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
