MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
April 19, 1971
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was
held on April 19, 1971 at the Council Chambers, 14900 C 23rd
Avenue North, Minneapolis, Minnesota, commencing at 7:30 o'clock
p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen biiiba, Johnson, Hunt and Spaeth. The following
fmembers were absent: x Councilman Hintz

mayor Hilde introduced the following
j resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 71-130
A RESOLUTION URGING THE PASSAGE OF
HOUSE FILE NO. 1704 (SENATE FILE 1558)
RELATING TO SCHOOL DISTRICT COMPLIANCE
WITH LOCAL PLANNING
WHEREAS, there has bee:, introduced into the Legislature
of the State of Minnesota a bill for an act relating to school
district compliance with local planning and amending Minnesota
Statutes 1969, Sections 121.15 and 462.356, Subd. 2, and
WHEREAS, said amendments would rcquire school districts '
to comply with local building codes and regulations and would
prohibit school districts from acquiring any interest in property;
or making any capital improvements unless such complied with the
comprehensive plan of the municipality in which the property to
be acquired or the capital improvements are located, and
WHEREAS, it is desirable that municipalities seek to

improve the quality of life for their citizens and at the same
time provide them with an adequate industrial and commercial

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Village Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby
certify that I have carefully compared the attached and fore-
going extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village
Council of said Village held April 19, 1971 with the original
thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
urging the passage of House File No. 1704 (Senate File 1558)
relating to school district compliance with local planning.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Village Clerk and
the corporate seal of the Village this 9th day of
