The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, t Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. Councilman Hintz was absent. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 71-125 RESOLUTION RELATING TO TAXATION SENATE FILE 426 WHEREAS,.a bill for an act relating to taxation; limiting the imposition of city income taxes, Senate File #426, has been introduced to the Minnaeots State Legislature. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH.- 1. LYMOUTH;1. The Village of Plymouth is in favor of Senate File /42k where is it states in Section li that notwithstanding the provisions of any other law or city charter, no _city shall impose a tax on the income of persons who do not reside in the city. 2. This resolution be sent to the League of Minnesots Munici- palities, Hennepin County League of Municipalities, our District Representative ani Senator and press. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Johnson, Spaeth and Hunt. No one voted against. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
