ESOLUTION PPROVING EQUEST FOR AYMENT O AND INAL
2014PTP(14003)
ARK RAIL ROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as the owner and Bituminous Roadway, Inc. as the
contractor, have entered into an agreement for the 2014 Park Trail Project, City Project No.
14003, said agreement was approved by the City Council on September 9, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEMAYORANDCITYCOUNCILOFTHECITYOF
PLYMOUTH,MINNESOTA:
1.That the original contract amount was $297,160.00 and that the value of the work to
date is $343,697.48 and is herewith approved. The final contract amount is
$46,537.48 or 15.66% above the original contract amount.
2.That the work performed by the contractor for the 2014 Park Trail Project and
certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby
released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any
and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work
after final payment.
3.Request for Payment No. 3 and Final in the amount of $25,946.15 to Bituminous
Roadways, Inc. for the 2014 Park Trail Project is hereby approved and the
Administrative Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same
forthwith.
4.Funding for this project will be from a $100,000 grant from Hennepin County with the
remaining $260,882.35 being funded from the Park Dedication Fund.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 8th day of December, 2015.
