RESOLUTION No. 2010-136
RENAMING EGAN DOG PARK TO PLYMOUTH DOG PARK
WHEREAS, the Egan Dog Park located in the northwest corner of Plymouth off of County Road
47, between Lawndale Lane and Dunkirk Lane, and
WHEREAS, there is public confusion regarding the name and/or location of the dog park,
especially when information about this park is shared in regional and state dog publications, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission has recommended that the Egan
Dog Park should be renamed Plymouth Dog Park;
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director and Superintendent of Recreation concurs with
this recommendation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Egan Dog Park shall henceforth be named Plymouth
Dog Park.
