RESOLUTION No. 2010-093
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR
2010 STREET SWEEPING PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 10016
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2010 Street Sweeping
Program, City Project No. 10016, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law,
and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
COMPANY TOTAL BID
Reliakor Services, Inc. $119,485.00
Carefree Services, Inc. $163,590.92
WHEREAS, it appears that Reliakor Services, Inc., of Shakopee, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; and
WHEREAS, the total project cost, including engineering, administration, and based on
the low bid is estimated to be $119,485.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract with Reliakor Services, Inc. of Shakopee, MN in the name of the City of
Plymouth for the 2010 Street Sweeping Program, a one year project, according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Engineer in the amount of $119,485.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return the deposits made with
their bid except that the deposits of the successful bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
3. Funding will be from the Water Resources Fund in the amount as follows:
510-70-751-75100-7500.111 $119,485.00
